A wedding was going on in the Iraqi city of Qaraqosh, Iraq in which more than 1000 people had come. When the groom Revan and the bride Haneen were dancing, a fire broke out in the upper part of the hall and the fire started falling down from the top.
This function was going on at 10:45 pm on 26th September and suddenly the fire started increasing rapidly. As soon as the fire broke out, people started running with their children, but unfortunately, the lights were switched off due to the fire and people did not get time to run away. People got trapped due to the crowd being too large and the lights being switched off. The entire hall started burning in a matter of seconds. BBC and Wikipedia have revealed that out of more than 100 people who died, only 38. Some people have been identified and others could not be identified due to severe burns.
